Steps to Check Oasis Scholarship Status

• Go to the Oasis Scholarship Portal (for West Bengal scholarships).
• On the home page, you will see the option of track an application, click on it

• Now a new page will open in front of you in which you have to select your district

• After selecting the district, as soon as you click on the submit button, you will reach a new page
• Where you will have to enter the application serial number, session, and then the captcha code

• After entering this, as soon as you click on check status
• Your status will open in front of you, you can easily check it there

Oasis Scholarship Amount

Oasis Scholarship Amount (as of 2024):

1. Pre-Matric Scholarships:
   • SC Students: Typically, the scholarship amount ranges from INR 1,000 to INR 5,000 per annum, depending on the class and category.
   • ST Students: Similar to SC students, the amount ranges from INR 1,000 to INR 5,000 per annum.
   • OBC Students: Generally, the amount is between INR 500 to INR 4,000 per annum.
2. Post-Matric Scholarships (oasis scholarship amount for ug students)
   • SC Students:
     • For undergraduate courses: INR 24,000 per annum.
     • For postgraduate courses: INR 29,000 per annum.
   • ST Students:
     • For undergraduate courses: INR 24,000 per annum.
     • For postgraduate courses: INR 29,000 per annum.
   • OBC Students: The amount varies, but generally ranges from INR 7,500 to INR 20,000 per annum, depending on the level of study.

Oasis Scholarship Eligibility

1. Pre-Matric Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:

• Category: Students must belong to SC, ST, or OBC categories.
• Education Level: The scholarship is for students studying in classes 1 to 10.
• Income Limit: Generally, the family income should not exceed a specified limit (often around INR 2.5 to 3 lakh per annum). The exact limit may vary, so it’s best to check the latest guidelines.
• Institution: The student must be studying in a recognized school.
• Residency: The student must be a resident of West Bengal.

2. Post-Matric Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:

• Category: Students must belong to SC, ST, or OBC categories.
• Education Level: The scholarship is for students pursuing education beyond class 10, including:
  • Undergraduate: Students pursuing courses like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, etc.
  • Postgraduate: Students pursuing higher education like M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, etc.
• Income Limit: The family income should typically not exceed a certain limit (often around INR 2.5 to 3 lakh per annum for SC/ST students; for OBC students, the limit may be different).
• Institution: The student must be enrolled in a recognized institution.
• Residency: The student must be a resident of West Bengal.

How to apply oasis scholarship

• To apply online for Oasis Scholarship, first you have to go to the official website of Oasis Scholarship

• After this, on the home page, you have to click on the option of student registration. As soon as you click on it, you will be asked to select the district. You have to select your district and click on submit.
• After this, a new page will open in front of you where Verification of Caste Certificate will be asked in which you have to enter your caste certificate number, issue date, captcha code.

• After entering all this, you have to click on submit. As soon as you click on submit, the details of the caste certificate will come in front of you where you have to enter the name, select from gender, select date of birth, enter Aadhaar number and again enter the Aadhaar number, enter the captcha code and click on process.

• After this, some more details will be asked from you and here you also have to create your password and after that after entering the captcha code, click on the submit button. As soon as you click on the submit button, your registration will be completed and you will get the application number.

• Now after this you have to come to the login option where you will login by entering your user ID and password and capture

• After logging in, you have to generate a new password, after this you have to click on the submit button. Now after logging in, you have to follow many steps where you will be asked many details like Aadhaar details, education details, then permanent address, after this you have to upload your photo, after this you have to enter parent details, after entering all this you have to click on the submit button

• After clicking on the submit button, you have to enter identity information and then bank information, after doing all this you can preview
• After this, below you will see the Verify Unlock Application option, after checking everything, you will click on the verification unlock option, as soon as you click, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, enter that OTP and click on the submit button, in this way your application will be done and you can download your application form
